Kansas City’s Heartland Men’s Chorus presents “And Justice for All,” a musical documentary program that examines the struggle for civil rights through music. The musical selections are drawn from the music used within various civil rights movements, including the triumphs and struggles of African Americans, women and gay men and women. This one-of-a-kind performance includes choral music, narrative, and multi-media visuals.

Scheduled during Black History Month, just after the Columbia Values Diversity Breakfast, and just before the start of Women’s History Month, this concert is one of the few events annually that can bring together groups of people with such differing struggles, for one common cause.

The concert is a fundraiser for The Center Project, mid-Missouri’s first and only gay and lesbian community center located at 907 E. Ash St. in downtown Columbia.

This performance is sponsored by the City of Columbia Human Rights Commission and KBIA.
