An artful twist on the usual pub crawl, ClassiCrawl treats music lovers to a gallery crawl (complete with wine and hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants) at four downtown locations – PS: Gallery, Orr Street Studios, the Columbia Art League and ACME Hot and Fresh T-Shirts – where members of the MSO perform contemporary, eclectic music in small, intimate groups. The evening culminates in a concert at MTCA with Free Planet Radio, a “world music supergroup” as dubbed by Mountain Xpress. Self-described, Free Planet Radio embodies “the shared vision of three multi-instrumentalists exploring the infinite and seamless relationships between musical cultures through the universal language of sound.”
