Community Significance
There is a strong sense of community ownership and emotional connection to the MissouriTheatre. Long time Columbians fondly remember their experiences at the Missouri Theatre. A restored Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts will enhance the community's sense of pride when the theater once again becomes the jewel in the downtown area’s crown. The Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts will be a performance facility that will be the envy of communities throughout the Midwest.
The Show Must Go On for the new Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts - to become the People's Theater - a place for all to enjoy, participate, and learn - for our children, and our children's children.
